Eris to Trump Pluto?
Will Eris Influence Astrological Readings?

Current events are tough on astrologers. How should astrologers respond to articles such as this one: "Pluto moves farther down the chain of planets"?

The former ninth planet was demoted yet again Thursday when scientists determined it no longer even reigns as king of the dwarf planets, a sub-class astronomers relegated Pluto to last summer after deeming it unworthy of standing alongside Earth, Jupiter and other larger bodies.

The bigger dwarf planet, Eris, is 27 percent more massive than Pluto, California Institute of Technology scientists reported in the journal Science.

So what are the implications of the astrological influences of Pluto?
After all, Pluto is the primary ruler of the astrological sign Scorpio.
Pluto is the co-ruler of Aries and is exalted in Leo.

No wonder the International Astronomical Union voiced concern last summer in Prague.

Astronomer traces Zodiac's time and place of birth

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/06/04/zodiac_horoscope

"Calculating its horoscope any minute now" -- Rhianna loves the wit of The Register®

"An astronomer has traced the origins of the earliest known descriptions of what would become the constellations of today's Zodiac to the region which once held the Assyrian cities of Ninova and Asur.

The descriptions, which include more than 200 astronomical observations, are written in cuneiform on a collection of clay tablets, known as MUL.APIN. The tablets are known to have been made in Babylon in around 687 BC, but archaeologists believe they are only transcriptions of much earlier records."

Cool, people have been star gazing since earliest times!
