Makeup and the Gothic look
Rhianna has been working on her vampire/vampira costume pages. You wouldn't believe how many vampire/vampira/vampiress/Gothic costumes there are!
Vampiresses and Vampiras are usually noted for pale skin. You can paint your face white with a white face crayon or white face paint (see the variety of kits offered on these pages) or you can go for "elegant gothic pale" -- a very subtle look.
The way to achieve a subtle pale is to either prime your face with your favorite moisturizer and/or follow with the lightest porcelain foundation your can find.
If too much color appears in the foundation you have, then skip the foundation and just apply your favorite moisturizer so that your face will be receptive to a layer or two of face powder:

This white grease makeup kit is perfect if you will be a vampire/vampira/vampiress this Halloween. This great makeup kit is small enough to bring to the Monster Mash Ball for touch ups! You can bring this kit with you in your pocket or purse. Sponge the grease makeup lightly onto your face -- you will be a spooky white but you will be in control of how much is on your face. The key to looking like a natural gothic ghoul is to blend, blend, blend the makeup into your face.
