Back in 1997 (at the start of Rhianna's pages) and in 1998, nobody used the word "groovy." Rhianna started to use it and sparked a sensation :-)
Rhianna's simple Vamcam (the first Vamcam) was built with a javascript randomizer. Some people informed Rhianna that they didn't know how to find the reload or refresh button on their browser to see the next vampy pic in Vamcam. Well Vamcam still has the javascript randomizer and now Rhianna has built in a new button called "Refresh the corpses" -- hit that and the next pic will appear faster than you can say, "Vamcam."

"THE Highgate Vampire Society has been revamped and come back out of its coffin with a new website.

David Farrant, president of the British Psychic and Occult Society, founded the Highgate Vampire Society in 1997.

By 2000, the society had 374 members but pressure of work forced Mr Farrant to disband the group.

Last month he returned to Highgate Cemetery, after a reported sighting of a 'vampire-like' figure in April."
